Monochromatic Colors: Indigo

I’d somewhat recently dared to enter an art store.  I came out with a lot more than I’d planned.  Heh.  One of those new items was a new color, indigo.  Nice color, though it dries duller and lighter than it is applied.

I’m not sure what his deal is, but I don’t think he’s up to any good.

heh, i just scanning for mods and eventually ended up here… well i\’ll take up the chance of urging you to also try this color in your future work http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauve. What am i after? nothing really, just u know.. the idea of having influenced someone\’s work seems nice

Thanks for the suggestion. Light mauve looks like it would be quite hard to work with in this way, and probably a waste of money even if watercolor companies make tubes of it. I’ll consider regular mauve after I’ve tried the colors I’ve got already. Can’t guarantee anything though, since it’s an oddball color.
